I feel like most of the examples under "Scourge" aren't really named for the weapon, but rather for the idea of something that causes destruction of affliction which is the much more common colloquial use of the world. It's pretty apparent with names like "Scourge of the Underworld" since if Scourge was referring to a whip he would be an ally to the Underworld, while he fights the Underworld.

I'm going to start pulling examples in a couple days if no one objects.

Would Ax Battler from the Golden Axe series count, even though he wields a broadsword?

Okay guys. What do you think of adding examples of "Rock" to this page? Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Roche Brasiliano, Simon Peter, Alcatraz Island, Rocky Balboa? Considering that Rock Beats Laser, it could count as a weapon. I'd just find it odd to create a new trope page for "Rock" when there wouldn't be one for something like "the Hammer".
