Ok, can anyone explain to me why is Hannibal NOT listed as an Anti-Hero: Type V?

The Sliding Scale Of Anti Heroes is being discontinued. That kind of character is now Nominal Hero, and the others have also been given tropes of their own.

Can someone explain why this page is linked on the Stock Parodies Index? I don't see any reason why it should be, and I'll remove it if no one can give me one.

About the interplay between Hannibal and Starling: what the heck is the interaction classed as?! Hannibal on the one hand seems to genuinely want to get to know Starling better, but on the other comes across as a stalker who has some kind of wierd obsession with her. In the meantime, Starling partly seems to want a purely professional, "I ask you questions, you give me answers" relationship, but she also seems to like Hannibal as a friend. What the hell?

Worthy Opponent with touches of Foe Yay and a dash of Evil Mentor, I'd say. Starling might want to keep things professional, but she's clearly impressed by Lecter's intelligence and insight.

Given that I can't edit anything on the old discussion page, this is probably the best place to clarify a very poorly-worded comment: That was just me trying to pluck a race out of the air without using any of the usual suspects. For some reason, it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm genuinely sorry if I offended anyone.

YKTTW... I am looking for a Trope that covers the interleaved scenes of Bill's place and FBI closing in (on the wrong location, in a subversion) in the movie of The Silence of the Lambs. Anyone have an idea?

I'm not sure, I can't find anything. Definitely a trope though. Played for Laughs in Spaced, where two sides of a conversation are revealed at the end to be between the two leads talking to different people, before they've even met each other.

Until there is a Just Bugs Me... Hannibal (2001). You fail physics/biology/research forever. You cannot cut open a human brain case with a delicately wielded scalpel. That is what *bone saws* are for.

You can go ahead and make the Just Bugs Me page.

Hmm. I've always seen it as (like in the book) He had used a bone saw previously and was re-opening up the wound caused by it along with levering open the skull, much like you would with an airtight mason jar and a butterknife, per se. (And a Just Bugs Me page for the series itself would be a good idea, if you ask me.)

"Executive Meddling: There was not going to be Hannibal Rising except execs told Harris someone else would write the book if he refused."

Exactly how would this work? If you create some characters, you own them (unless you work for a media company are do so as part of your job. Or you sell all rights, which is highly unusual). So, normally, NO ONE would be legally able to write the book except for Harris.

According to The Other Wiki, he had signed a deal where he promised to do another story, however, it also includes a quote where it is said he doesn't have to have the story include Hannibal, he could write anything he wanted.
