Shouldn't we create separate articles for the Hanna-Barbera series and the 1994 film: WesternAnimation. The Little Rascals and Film. The Little Rascals, respectively? They seem to have enough tropes to merit separate articles.

I'm not fully familiar with the original shorts but would Waldo from the 1994 film count as Adaptational Villainy? From what I know, in the originals, Waldo is a snooty rich kid and Alfalfa's rival for Darla but still their friend. In the film, he's a full blown Jerkass and a major antagonist. Apparently Butch is also a rival for Darla in the shorts so I wonder if Waldo from the film is actually a Composite Character of Waldo and Butch (though Butch is in the film too).

I think the date MGM bought the rights is wrong. The Dandy featured Our Gang comic strips from launch in December 1937, and always said they appeared courtesy of MGM. Thus MGM had to own the rights in 1937.
