1ManFlix (or1WomanFlix)

It is now possible for one person to create movies and tv series. Should that be a new form? 1ManFlix.com? It exists. Will it be a trend. One person productions—writing, producing, directing, editing—sometimes even acting. Should we give that a separate place in the pantheon of artistic, entertainment, creative expression?

I know this wiki is supposed to stay well clear of ever being just even slightly edumcational, but the intro text for this trope seems to perpetuate the harmful and annoying myth that the Internet and the WWW are the same.

Lots of Internet stuff happens without the web or browsers or any kind of hypertext being involved. Email, instant messaging, Usenet, IRC. MMORP Gs and MUDS.
