I want to add this trope to the page, but I can't shake the feeling that there's a YMMV to it. It breaks down like this:

On the one hand, Ino saves Japan and has a magical adventure. Then, as he grows up, he puts aside childish things, including his devotion to the Sunekosuri that has been his constant companion throughout the adventure and afterwards, leading to a Here We Go Again right before the closing credits, as the abandoned things of childhood was a major theme of the show.
