Is there a version of this trope where they get off the bus and stay permanently?
Hide / Show RepliesI certainly hope so, I don't understand why the "just once" restriction.
Indeed. I got here from Darths And Droids, which has Ben disappear then return permanently, retaining his major character status. As the page stands, it's not clear what this should be entered under.
Well, I believe that we'd better expand the definition a bit. Requiring a returning character to return only once indeed seems overly restrictive, as there are, as noted, a lot of cases when a previously missing character returns for good.
I don't understand the restriction too. There's no other trope for this.
I've typed in the segment "After years of merely being alluded to, YHVH finally makes a TRUE comeback in Shin Megami Tensei IV: FINAL!" However, this is only a placeholder as I would like to add more specific details. Do any Shin Megami Tensei fans know what exactly YHVH's history with the franchise is?
