The main page says it has more to do with rank than personality, but I think I remember reading a fanfiction where one of the characters was this trope in personality and rank, since she was treated like crap by the rest of her Nakama. She also doubled up as The Dark Chick. Of course, she ends up making a Heel Face Turn because of this.
