Fits with the title, but it's not a train; the newest power generating technology, especially as used in submarines, is steam power with a different heat source. Nuclear power heats water which runs through heat exchangers to turn turbines to generate electricity.

Is Dumbo really an example? The entry mentions why it isn't - it was made before WWII, when steam was still around, and diesel engines were just starting to appear. So, should we just remove it since it doesn't apply to this trope?
