What is the opposite of this trope? Like when a character who usually wears their hair down is surprisingly 600x more attractive with their hair all dolled up in an elegant style?

Why is this called "Slipknot Ponytail"? For years I thought this trope referred to the slipknot hairstyle, which looks like this◊. The trope is fine, but it's the title of this trope specifically that bothers me because it doesn't do a very good job at defining itself whatsoever, and it can be confusing. Most tropes are easily understandable by their title alone, and this one is not. Or am I the only one who thinks so?

I think it's called Slipknot Ponytail because, like a slipknot made of rope, it comes undone very fast and smoothly.
