Could I get a ruling (or at least discussion of) whether new arrangements of the same basic theme count as an example of this trope? Currently, the article lists Babylon 5 as a straight example, but Doctor Who as an aversion—but while neither introduced totally new themes, both have used different arrangements of the theme over the course of their series. (Meanwhile, another well-known example of "same basic theme, different arrangements"—The Cosby Show—is not listed as either.)
