It was pretty bad, and it's much better to show a trope with a single image than a comic. This one works perfectly, given the shocked expressions of the people in the background while the boy up front is just merrily eating popcorn.

In a fanfic, there's actually a goblin devoted to delivering popcorn on demand.. literally wherever. It's tasty too! Also, it's his job.

The other problem is that, unless you know the context from the Thriller music video, it doesn't illustrate the trope very well. The current one illustrates both the popcorn eating, and the fact whatever the kid is watching upsets everyone else present.
