I've seen some examples of Outside Context Problem in some sections like the Crusades, where it talked about how the Muslims caliphates saw the Crusaders in the First Crusade (1094 - 99 AD) as this. So I think it's safe to assume that you can put some real life examples but they've got to be specific.

I don't think this article should forbid real life examples since it has nothing to do with morality. And there certainly have been real life examples - see for example the encounter of Aztecs and Inca with Europeans.
