  • Politically, this is one of many grievances held by Irish Catholics that resulted in The Troubles in Northern Ireland. Prior to limited reform in the 1970's, the Protestant-dominated Stormont government took very great care to gerrymander a system where the Catholic minority's political representation was even more limited, by arbitrary weighting and careful drawing of boundaries between wards and constituencies. In this way, other injustices could be perpetrated, such as an uneven allocation of housing and school financing.

I don't see how this example as written fits the trope. There was injustice at the time and in those actions, but there isn't one judge/person overriding the decisions of everybody else involved.
