Is it worthwhile to point to Denmark's location, as the only country that can possible monitor and control (and even block) all traffic between the Atlantic Ocean and the Baltic Sea? Small country, but Sweden couldn't exert control over the western straits even if they wanted to.

This benefit of location might - note I'm speculation here - have been the main reason why Denmark wasn't booted out of NATO during their massively bad behaviour in the 1980s.

Seems abit bare for the main millitary force of the world, I would have atleast expected brits with battleships and yanks with tanks at least.
