Does Monk really have a Myth Arc? While Trudy Monk was mentioned constantly, it was more of a character trait of Adrian's than an ongoing plotline. Weren't there only about five episodes across eight whole seasons that actually had anything to do with solving that case (as opposed to roughly a third of the entire series for The X-Files or three quarters of the series for the Doctor Who revival)?

I suppose the point is, I don't feel like anyone would describe Monk as "that show about the neurotic detective looking for his wife's killer" (which would indicate a Myth Arc) instead of "that show with the neurotic detective solving weird cases."

Were those five episodes spread out over the series? If so, I'd say it'd count as a mild example.
