The Rock & Pop section could feasibly be further broken down into decades by this point. Or at least "50s, 60s & 70s" and then "80s and 90s" or something.

I really think this list should be more closely monitored. The list should only have artists that either started, or are widely considered the best in their genres. Or there's something really influential about the artist in question. This is for people trying to "get into" a certain genre of music.

Should we add William Tell's Overture: Finale? Basically identified as the universal "escape" or "go quickly" music and is one of the most commonly used pieces of music.

Are these lists meant to be in chronological order? The Rock & Pop one kinda starts out like that...

This is going to become a "list of musicians a troper likes", and if any of you try to stop that someone will just say "it's subjective", "it's Just for Fun", and "There Is no Such Thing as Notability".
