Tasty Sauce: Since this series is so chock full of it, I thought maybe of creating a High Octane Nightmare Fuel page especially for the anime. What do you think?

Is there a reason why the kusuriuri is called "the apothecary" on this page? Most of the fandom refers to him as "the medicine seller" and the official Romanization has him referred to as "the medicine peddler". I see no justification for apothecary.

And why can't I edit this? Every time I make a change it's instantly back to apothecary!

I concur!

The character referred to in the article as the “apothecary” is better known to the fans of the series as “the Medicine Seller.” Additionally, “Medicine seller” is not only the direct translation of his name in Japanese, but it is also closest what the character is known by in the licensed Ayakashi R1 DVD release (the Medicine Peddler). Because of this, I feel it would be best to change the name of the character in the trope discussion.

Is there a trope associated with the way some episodes use anachronistic elements of modern art, such as the Klimt paintings in the Umibozu arc and Picasso Art Shift in the series' Bakeneko arc?

Somebody who knows what ganguro is please explain it. (It appears in the entry for the trope Mukokuseki.)

Why don't you go look it up on Wikipedia or Google?

A Ganguro is a japanese girl who tans her skin a lot and dresses in kinda revealing clothes that come in bright colors.

I've deleted all references to Ganguros in the article, since this is a historical series and I find it extremely unlikely that the character in question was a reference to them.
