We need a YMMV for this page.

People do not generally have YMMV pages.

Then Complete Monster and Memetic Mutation shouldn't be on this page. Right?

Right; I've deleted the entries. Complete Monster in particular is never applied to a real life person, or if it is it should be removed. Thanks for catching it.

No problem.

It greatly amuses me that this article is in the category "The men of Downing street". Unfortunate Implications anyone?

I wouldn't say so, she was the only Woman ever to hold the Premiership, and the joke has always been she was the biggest man of the cabinet.

Lets find another picture for the page. This one doesn't fit with the pictures of the other leaders of state.

It does however fit perfectly with how she was portrayed in the media during her rule, and with how she is remembered. It represents in one neat pic the Tropes associated with her.

No, I agree with the Macgyver644200. That thing is overly negative (I would venture to say it represents only the tropes associated with her by her political enemies) and wouldn't even be recognizable as Thatcher without a caption. If Henry VIII, Maximilien Robespierre, and Josef Stalin get normal pictures, I can't see why Thatcher shouldn't.

well we tried to find some positive tropes from political friends but came up empty on both counts.

I agree with Maggyver644200 and Tannhaeuser, it's not that hard to find a normal picture of her. A quick Google Search and there you go.

These arguments are good, if we were The Other Wiki, however this is TV Tropes. The picture sums up the tropes shown on TV (and ever since) regarding her. The picture is a good fit in that regard.

I stand with what I just said. Cryptic Mirror's argument just sounds hollow when we consider that every single public figure have their own caricature that made fun of them. However, they're all have at least a normal picture that allows someone unfamiliar with such figures to know how he/she looks like. I suggests we do the same with this one.

What about the one on her page on The Other Wiki, With some apt phrase below it, something like "The Lady's not for turning."?
