I removed this Literature example because it has no source. Does anyone recognize it?

  • In [BOOK] A wizard gets rid of his shadow, thinking this makes him perfect. However, it turns out that the shadow has become a monster which, among other reverse-of-normal things, travels through solid ground instead of air, and eats people's bones instead of their flesh.
