There seems to be either a big overlap with Diegetic Switch trope, or half the examples should be moved. I am new here, so I won't dare making such a huge edit by myself.

I cut this:
" folder:Real Life
- A common occurence in dreams: a person dreaming will suddenly hear music, usually with no discernable source. The dreamer may wonder where it's coming from and notice it doesn't fit the context of the dream world if it's not the kind of dream where this is unremarkable. The sound will soon wake the dreamer up, who will realize it's something from the real world like the radio or a phone's ringtone."
because I'm not so sure real life examples can exist for a trope that's basically fourth-wall-breaking in fictional media. If someone wants to put it back, though, I'm not going to argue about it.

Because of the similarity of the title, Left The BGM On should redirect here also, no?
