Does/should Viewers Are Morons belong on this page? (As either an associated trope or one of the reasons for this).

On the one hand, it seems sort of like Flame Bait. On the other hand, when fans are expressing admiration for mass-murderers comparable to history's worst, it's really hard to see what else to call them. On the gripping hand, the tropes associated with this are some of the only tropes that will make me genuinely angry, so my views on the matter are hardly objective.

Viewers Are Morons is not related to this. That trope describes how the writers treat viewers through how they represent things in their work; it doesn't refer to whether or not the viewers actually are morons.

What is the difference between this and Draco in Leather Pants?

Possible extra reason for jerkass dissonance:

In works with a designated hero, the jerkass may not actually be much worse than the supposed good guys, leading the audience wondering what it is that makes the jerkass so disliked.

I was thinking of adding this on, if nobody has any objections...

No objections here; sounds like a perfectly valid reason. Add away!
