I have seen the amateur, and it is me.
For humor's sake, I'll separate the "plain English" translation from the "Zero Wingrish" version on the page:
This trope is about the deliberate use of Engrish for the humor it provides. "Proper" Engrish isn't always easy to use, since there are many different ways to do it. People sometimes achieve this through idiom confusion, or by using words that don't mean what they think they mean.
The video game Zero Wing, on the other hand, does use English words in the proper context, but is infamous for its "Blind Idiot" Translation, making its style easier to emulate than others.
Zero Wingrish can sometimes be achieved by using automated programs that provide Recursive Translations. Other forms are still used, but the Zero Wing style is more popular.
A Sub-Trope to Stylistic Suck.
If someone wants to put that in a folder similar to the one on Translation Trainwreck, go right ahead. I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!
