I agree with Honore DB in the Archived Discussion: the title for this trope seems to be backwards.

The title makes no sense.

The title seems to indicate that merely taunting the villain is just as bad as what they have done/are doing which makes no sense if their actions are anything beyond taunting. The actual article describes a villain seeking to bait the hero into attacking them.

Reversing the title would be good, but better still would be a different, more descriptive title that does not suggest mere victimization, but indicates that the villain seeks to cause action on the hero's part. Does "Goad Into Aggression" sound suitable?
