It says this is a trivia entry - shouldn't it be a YMMV Entry? Trivia entries are simple facts that are out of universe, while YMMV entries are reactions and thoughts out of universe. These predictions aren't things that everyone saw coming, so logically it should be a YMMV Entry.
I do know what I'm doing. What I don't know is why. Hide / Show RepliesWell, no, YMMV is for opinions. I Knew It! is a factual statement, not an opinion.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBut YMMV is for Audience Reactions and this does seem more like an audience reaction than anything else.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI can't help but notice that there's at least one case of this trope being used in-universe, and the site still considers using it on the main page of a work as incorrect. Any suggestions what could be done about it?
Hide / Show RepliesIf you put an In-Universe tag on it, then it won't be viewed as incorrect.

Hide / Show RepliesI deleted it. I sent a PM to the troper who made the edit so they can write the example properly next time if they want.
What's the difference between this and Ascended Fanon? Both involve something that hadn't been revealed yet being speculated on by fans, and when The Reveal happens, it turns out the fans were right. If someone can come up with a clear difference, they should note it in the Canonical List of Subtle Trope Distinctions, and possibly also on each tropes' page as well; if not, we should talk about merging the two.
Hide / Show RepliesThis is when the fans just guess right. Ascended Fanon is when the fans come up with something, the writers see it, and then incorporate it into the show.
Should Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles be added, for every one who guessed that Sakura's and Syaoran's real names were 'Tsubasa'
I'm not sure if this page should note personal examples or not, but I personally have a case of "I Knew It" regarding Kingdom Hearts - http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Xion#New_Theory. Technically she was a Replica, not a Nobody, but otherwise my theory about her being built out of Sora's memories of Kairi is 100% correct. Should it be added or no?
Per TRS, this is now YMMV.
