In the Supergirl storyline Red Daughter of Krypton, Red Lantern Zilius Zox has a type: round females. When Guy Gardner jokingly asks him and his partner Skallox if they're getting a crush on Supergirl, Zox replies: "Meh. Not nearly spherical enough."
Zillius Zox is a sphere with arms and legs. I'm not sure that being primarily attracted to your own non-humanoid species qualifies as a "type" so much as "how biology works". If Guy had had a similar conversation with Dex-Starr, would this indicate that Dex-Starr's "type" was small, furry quadrupeds?
And, come to think of it, he doesn't actually specify "females", and as far as I know it's not clear if Noc'sagians even have the same genders as humans. (When Guy compares him to a testicle, he doesn't know what that means.)
