Hair Metal =/= any commercially-friendly rock from the '80s

Is it just me, or are there a lot of non-Hair Metal acts listed on this page? I know genres are subjective, but, as of right now, it seems that just about commercially-friendly rock act from the 1980s is fair game (I mean, Loverboy is listed here). There are many bands/artists listed here that are actually AOR/melodic rock (what TV Tropes generally calls "Arena Rock.") Yes, some artists, like Icon, Autograph, and Danger Danger straddle the line between Hair Metal and AOR/melodic rock, but there are some artists here that, in my opinion, don't really belong.

Here are some of the differences between Hair Metal and AOR/melodic rock (what TV Tropes usually calls "Arena Rock"): -Hair Metal is almost always heavier in sound and sleazier in content than AOR -AOR generally uses a lot more keyboards/synthesizers than Hair Metal (although some hair bands will occasionally break out the instrument) -AOR dates back to the mid-1970s, when bands like Journey, Boston, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, and Styx were rising to prominence, while Hair Metal, influenced by Van Halen (many, like myself, might even include Van Halen in the genre proper, but this is still debated), came about in the early 1980s, with acts like Motley Crue, Ratt, Def Leppard, Dokken, and Twisted Sister -Hair Metal acts generally featured over-the-top, Glam Rock-inspired costumes/make-up, while AOR acts generally had a more mainstream visual look (though their hairdos were still pretty big a lot of the time)

While certainly not infallible, I think rateyourmusic.com is generally a good site for differentiating AOR/melodic rock from Hair Metal (which they refer to as "Glam Metal.")

So, in terms of actual changes, I'd advocate for the following removals from this page (in the order that they currently appear on the page): -the mention of UFO dabbling in Hair Metal on 1985's ''Misdemeanor" -Aldo Nova -Cobra -Dare -Europe -Fiona -Giant -Giuffria -Harem Scarem -Haywire -Honeymoon Suite -House of Lords -Return -Romeo's Daughter -Saraya -Stage Dolls -Stan Bush -Strangeways -Tobruk -White Heart -White Sister -Zebra -Nelson -38 Special -Andy Taylor -Bad English -Blackfoot -Cheap Trick -Deep Purple -Heart -Loverboy -Night Ranger -Petra -Triumph -Ted Nugent -Tygers of Pan Tang -UFO (again) -Uriah Heep -Michael Bolton -Hardline

Okay, I hope that this comment doesn't come across as pedantic, but I that this page could use a minor adjustment. I didn't just make the changes unilaterally, as it might anger some tropers, so I thought that we could maybe discuss it over first and reach consensus.
