I don't think this should be cut, it seems perfectly fine to me.

It should be cut. It's People Sit In Chairs and way too broad.

How can this topic be too broad? It's not any more broad than Totem Pole Trench. I would like some descriptive details why this trope should be deleted before anyone permanently deletes it.

Well, real stomachs do growl, but not all of them, and not normally so other people can hear. And this doesn't even appear in every work where someone gets hungry — it tends to land in lighter contexts, usually. This is a trope, and it is not a Universal Trope. Keep it.

Am I to believe that some of you just haven't heard your tummy rumble? Tummies rumble, they do, they do. It's a thing that happens, happens as it does. A mere biological act. This page is not like scatological humour or fart comedy. It's just the rumble of a gut and that's that.

True, a growling gut is a natural occurance to people in real life, but some people like seeing it happen in pop culture like in movies, TV shows and comic books, so that's probably why some of us think it's a necessary to have...maybe put it somewhere else on the site?

Probably someone's fetish. Same as the page for incest in a children's show, only this page isn't actually harmful to anyone.

Okay, I'd like to know who thought it would be a good idea to give each folder of this page it's own page, because I really don't think that was necessary.

Going back to an earlier point, this is People Sit In Chairs now. It's pervasive and it happens in real life. So much so that an exhaustive list would be too large to manage. As much as it's a thing that happens, it only needs an explanation page with no examples to be informative.

Now, there is a definite stock gag where someone either hasn't revealed that he's hungry or hasn't even realized it, and then his stomach growls loudly enough for people to hear and know he's hungry. That is tropeable for sure. Another stock use is that it gets used as sort of a... warning before a Potty Failure and rush to a bathroom.
