Pulled this:

  • Natrually Snow White in Fables and her sister Rose Red and a few other princesses even a male examples like Bigby and Flycatcher. Snow in particular cried when Colin the pig died.
    • Goldilocks is subverted and Squick example as not only is prepared to bone any talking animal or creature but at same time she ruthlessly kills a Fable police mouse who uncovered her plot with Bluebeard.

Discounting typos, wrong indentation and bad grammar, both examples lack context: The first only names a few characters, without telling us what makes them Friend to All Living Things; the second claims it is a subversion, but does not tell us why the audience should expect the character to be Friend to All Living Things in the first place. Both examples seem to speak exclusively about character's liking animals, but Friend to All Living Things also requires animals actually liking the character.

Let's just say and leave it at that.

Probably the wrong trope; if not, then please elaborate.

Long live Marxism-Lennonism!
