why dont we have a recogniseable image as an example of the trope (eg Discworld) instead of the blurry orange thing?

In many myths from Native American Mythology, you have the earth being on or made on the back of a turtle. Does this count for this or entirely Turtle Island? TBH, I feel that since a turtle's shell is curved and thus is not flat, I feel this would not be the case.
