Maybe we should divide this into 3 categories, like the Nearly Normal Animal page. Thoughts?

Okay, WTF is the difference between this and Petting-Zoo People now? It seems like an arbitrary distinction...

Yeah, the difference seems to be rather delicate. It does exist, though - Petting Zoo people have a human skeleton and proportions, while Funny Animals are shaped like their respective species. Funny Animals are also somewhat more likely to drop Furry Reminders.

As usual with Sliding Scales, there are some ambiguous in-between categories. Not every one of them deserves its own trope.

Can someone explain why the penguins from Happy Feet are listed here and not on Nearly Normal Animal? I don't get it.

I don't think this term will ever catch on in spoken language. How about changing the title to Anthro? "Anthro" is already used by many people.

Sonic the Hedgehog and Mickey Mouse have nothing about their bodies that's different from some cartoon humans and nothing like the animals they're based off of except for tails. I'm counting ears and head spikes as part of the head.

Will I be informed if people reply to my discussion post?
