Quick question: I was about to add Glory Girl, one of the superheroes in the story Worm, but I wanted a second opinion on the correct category; according to her narration:
- She turned up her power another notch. Her body thrummed with current – waves of energy that anyone in her presence would experience as an emotional charge of awe and admiration. For those with a reason to be afraid of her, it would be a feeling of raw intimidation instead.
Should I put that down as Fear, Despair, or Other?

I kept linking to this trope thinking it was about someone who explodes due to emotions. Do we have a trope for that?

Does a emotion dampening implant count?
An implant that shuts of any emotion other than the desire to protect your True Companions, meant for short bursts of invisibility?
Basically, Empath can sense your emotions, and get an even easier time if your emotions are directed at them. And if you have Killing Intent towards them, you might as well be wearing bright pink halogen lamps all over your body as far as they're concerned. Shutting down every emotion except your desire to protect your True Companions means that while you will not hesitate to kill, it's Nothing Personal and you're effectively invisible to their paranormal senses. You have no Killing Intent, you're just feeling the same as if you were just clearing a path through a minefield, or a booby trapped house...
