Does this need a character page? Yay or ney?

I think it might be worth doing.

I already posted this on the headscratchers page by mystake, but I'll leave it posted in both for the heck of it. My question to everyone is this: What would you do if the Change happened in your lifetime?

Okay, I'll start. I'm lucky enough to live on a farm, so kinda set there. Within the first 72 hours...or within the first hour after the guns misfire. I’m going to walk down the road to the one house that keeps carrier pigeons, ask them where do their birds go, and if they’d be willing to send their birds out. That way we can see who responds and how far things have gone. Next I'd try to get all the seed stock I could find. In the mean time try to have my family go out and try to convince the neighbors to work together that way we could have access to their cattle. Next try to collect "Experts". One of my friends is into amateur blacksmithing, a lot of my friends are into history, one of my friends has horses, another has goats and bee's. Next defenses... which is where I get stuck. The black smith could make armor, and their is a MMA circuit here. I have a bow, and there’s a sports outfitters here. Beyond that play it by ear and hope for luck. If we live a year and a half then we'll start worrying about trade routs

Honestly? I'm middle-aged and live within 25 miles of a city, so what I'd probably do is DIE. I'd try to get my son to his paternal uncle first (a long walk or bicycle ride, but doable), as said uncle is a bowhunter, an experienced woodsman, and a competitive bicyclist, and could give him a decent chance at survival.

If for some reason I happened to be in an area that wasn't likely to be overrun,I would try to hook on with a group that might have some use for a strong back and some rusty-but-useful Girl Scout skills. As I have a good memory, some skill at songwriting, and a passable and LOUD singing voice, I might eventually try to make a living as a traveling bard, carrying news from town to town.

It's mentioned a couple times that Tiphaine and some more minor characters, including Delia's children get their names from a book series but the series is never named. Any idea what it is, I'd like to include it in the Shout-Out section.

The books in question are the Neustrian cycle by Leslie A. Barringer; GERFALCON, JORIS OF THE ROCK, and SHY LEOPARDESS. They're historical fantasies set in the 14th century, but an alternate one with some (mild) magic and where Neustria, a Carolingian term for western France, remains a political unit.

Is a spoiler tag for Rudi's father really necessary? Seriously. His identity is never in question to the reader, from the moment Juniper discovers she's pregnant. Mike may not be sure at first, and it takes Signe about a book to figure it out, but the reader knows full well there's only one man it could be.

I daresay not, no.

Any chance we could just lose it, then? Would anyone have a problem with that?

I'd be good with that. Anyone else?
