Could we delete the section for Nightmare Fuel, possibly transferring a few lines to the High Octane Nightmare Fuel page? It lists Eye Scream, sexual abuse, the first ten minutes of episode one—all intentionally frightening material and not aimed at children in the least bit.

A similar point was brought up some time ago regarding the Nightmare Fuel page for Neon Genesis Evangelion, and it was eventually merged with its high-octane counterpart.

Any objections, agreements, etc.?

I second this. Given the decidedly mature target audience, all Nightmare Fuel for this series definitely falls in the High Octane category, not the regular one.

Alright. I've added it to the cutlist.

I heavily dislike this series, but this trope, I think, is off:

* Mary Sue: Ahem, mainly of the God Mode Sue and Sympathetic Sue types; referring to Lucy. A girl who can make people explode at her will, and usually does so because they've done something ranging from relatively small and forgivable to unforgivable? The girl's got problems, folks. And not in the sympathetic way.

Re:Godmode Sue: Nearly all diclonii can dismember and make folks asplode. (The exception is Nana, who just doesn't.) She doesn't qualify as a Sue for that if plenty of others can do it. One could argue that the high accumulation of vectors near the very end of the manga qualifies, but because it ends up melting her into a gorny mess, it probably doesn't.

Re:Sympathetic Sue: I really don't think this fits, either, though it is debatable. ._.; She was ostracized from a young age and locked up for years, so it makes sense that she'd be messed up in the head. Then again, she was locked up because she was a diclonius and because she murdered almost senselessly, if I'm not mistaken.  * Then there's that whole mess of nature versus nurture...

That aside, the only genuinely Sue-ish aspect of Lucy, IMHO, is that she gets forgiven by Kouta far too easily. ^^;

And even that was only in the anime, which suffered from very heavy Adaptation Decay.

But Kouta never really forgave her in the Anime, he just simpathised with her pain and admited to still love her despite being unable to forgive her.

I don't think any of the sue tropes should be on the main page, but rather the YMMV page.

Regarding the deletion of "Adaptation Decay" from the trope list:

Is the "o rly" to mean "the anime does not have these problems" or "the manga has these problems, too"?

What was the speech or lines said when Lucy confessed to the murders she did as a kid(the original one)?
