What would be called something like the eleventh ranger hour, only instead of the 11th ranger it's the 6th or one of the older characters showing up? However while he is hyped up to be the most badass of character he ends up getting killed off just as soon as he reveals himself. I come to think of the climax of the 21 jumpstreet movie to be kind of that moment.

re: Sanger: That's just for Ryusei's storyline, right? When playing Kyosuke's story, Sanger's right there with you at the beginning.
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!
Final Fantasy II is an iffy example, technically he's one of the 4 Original/main members, but besides the prologue unwindable batter he never fight with you till the Final Boss.
