Alright, there are a lot of delusional artists in this page. Needs a cleanup.

Would anyone care to recommend PSHoudini?

While this is kind of an interesting idea, I feel like this should be done akin to the Fanfic Recs, where you have a formal structure and have to sign your recommendations and everything.

...any ideas on what sort of format(s) to use? Here's a rough starter suggestion from my own head:

  • <Deviant name linked to their userpage>
    • Recommended by: <Troper name>
    • Topics: <fandoms, genres, mediums, pairings, art styles, etc. as appropriate in keyword-style format>
    • Warnings: <optional as needed, stuff like NSFW, nudity, gore, trigger warnings, etc.>
    • Comments: <whatever other info you feel like adding>

The format that's used for fanfic recommendations would be fine for this.

Although I feel like this is something that should be brought up in the actual forums and not on the page, since it seems like something that could grow really fast.

In accordance with the current fanfic recs format, though, we don't want a comments section. Just a reviews link. Takes up too much space otherwise.

^^ I wasn't sure where on the forums to bring it up, though.

^ See, that never made any sense to me even on the fanfic recs pages. How can you review-link a recommended thing if it doesn't have a work page here and it's a case where there's no real point in writing one? Plus not all comments are reviews, but instead additional non-review info.

The non-review-related info can be put in the description and tags. As for how you review-link it... well, check out the coding on the Neon Genesis Evangelion page for how it works.

So basically you just want to rename "Comments" to "Description/Info"?

And, ah, I guess. Still seems a bit much, I guess, to force people to write a lengthy formal review all the time when they just want to add a couple sentences of what they think about the work.

Edit: Ah, I see. You were going by the existing main page. Which I admit I don't really like as it stands... separating "artist" and "gallery" in particular seems silly to me as opposed to just noting specific galleries in the description. Was hoping for more discussion first before the creator went and overhauled the page...
