  • Horace and Jasper try this in Disney's One Hundred And One Dalmatians, with a briefcase labeled "Electric Co.", although Horace introduces them as being from the gas company before Jasper corrects him.

These are a couple of thieves looking to steal for their boss, not two members of a larger sneaky organization posing as members of the mundane side of said organization.

Regarding the Buffy episode, was the flower shop really the front, or was the Initiative simply tapping her line?

Regarding:

** Wait, Marduk, like the Canaanite deity who was worshiped by people sacrificing babies by burning them alive while the worshipers engaged in orgies? That's a red flag if I ever saw one.

Marduk was Babylonian, and not (so far as I know) particularly associated with child sacrifice; perhaps the writer is conflating with Moloch.
