So Dude, I got like discussion all up in your forum

When the guy moved over Pig In A Poke to this page I was all like "Dude, I liked the Pig In A Poke name" and I was also like "Dude, the description for Beat Bag is so different that there are subtlied being lost and there might actually be a split here that's being lost in the haste".

So I set up a thread in the forums and thoughts I'd store the old page write up here:

"Selling a "beat" bag is a form of the Short Con that involves representing a bogus product as something of more value. Oregano for marijuana, baking soda for heroin, zircons for stolen diamonds. Known in Spanish as "dar gato por liebre" (giving a cat instead of a hare) after the Medieval practice of selling cats instead of hares for food (which is also where the English expression "letting the cat out of the bag" and the related "pig in a poke" comes from).

The buyer does not want to go to the police, because he does not want to explain why he was buying. The main push on these is that the buy has to go down fast for some reason, for cash, right now."

I restored the definition. The new stuff didn't add anything, really, and the "a pig in a poke" thing was already ref'd.
