Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this, but for some recent examples, I have been putting the names of the users that created the fan comic or art. I wasn't sure if just providing a link to the picture was enough, so I wanted to at least credit the authors with a link to their pages. Any thought on what I should do?

If someone ever made an animated version of the Greek legend of Phaeton, who drove the sun's chariot too close to Earth, this trope probably would be used - since this legend explains why Africans are black. Although I guess that if no such film exists, it won't be made anymore - too un-PC.
