Does Doctor Who count? They've got the daemons, which are the aliens that "served as the basis for the demon myths" and plenty of baddies that might as well be low-level squids (mostly, but not exclusively, created by Stephan Moffit). And also the actual, literal Satan in the form of The Beast (possibly).
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is Hide / Show RepliesEh, there'd need to be an "Angel" equivalent. And the White Guardian is the closest to that role. Last I checked (though I could be mistaken), there wasn't really an "Angel" race in Doctor Who. And no, the Weeping Angels don't count.
Blue-collar mad scientist, at your service!I'm not a big fan of this trope including full fledged Crossover Cosmology works. If you have Angels, Demons, Cthulhu, Fae, Gods, spirits, dragons, mythological monsters, etc, I think it's got too many for the limited scope that Angels, Devils and Squid seems to imply.
Hide / Show RepliesThis specifically relates to works that have the Angel/Demon demographic (classic Christian/Catholic representation), but also throws Cthulhian-like monstrosities into the mix. Crossover Cosmology doesn't work, because this is very specifically limited to these three factions and nothing more.
There are plenty of works that have just these three factions and no deeper crossovers than that.
Is it too late to add an Oxford Comma to the title of this tropes?
The lack of punctuation is really bothering me.
