Hope this is in the right spot, but it's been driving me nuts lately. In "Not Fade Away" the song playing in the background of the bar when Spike goes for his liquid courage. You can usually pick out what music Joss's shows have in the background (for example- TDTF in Destiny). I've turned the TV to max volume (sorry neighbors) and the best I can come up with is that it SOUNDS like The Clash, but I can't be sure. Anybody have any clue? :-)

This may rise to the point of Natter but in response to the cricism of the "What do you mean it's not political" entry it's important to point out that Hillary Clinton became a senator in New York in 2001, at the time this was widely rumored to be a prelude to a Presidential campaign (and it was). Considering the episode Aired in 2004 the criticism seems unfounded.

The tropes are divided by seasons? That's kind of an odd way to do it.

It helps avoid spoilers for people part way through the series.

Here's a better idea: use the spoiler tags. Or better yet, don't browse the page at all if you're concerned about spoilers!

Really? When it's so easy to just organize them by season? The alphabet doesn't actually have anything to do with the show; it's just done that way to subdivide the tropes into folders so it's not super long.

It's easy to organize, but hard to edit. This is the real issue. To avoid confusion and errors. Besides, too many of these tropes are recurring. This is will just end up making the article repetitive.

That's why you also have a general folder, for things that don't have a single occurence. Like Angel's Badass Longcoat, to pick an example very much at random.

I guess I'd be more comfortable with season breakups if I saw more articles doing it. Give me time to ponder this.

In light of the article's length, the absence of episode recaps, and in the interest of making the page lurker-friendly, I've changed my position [sorta] on the soft split.

Ideally, it would just be one, fat General tropes page, with the season splits eliminated in favor of episode recaps (which would be good idea for both pages - I'll start one for this series, and see if it catches on for Buffy).

I seriously dislike having this many splits. But in its current state, the page offers no solid argument against it. /personalconclusion.

Angel/Angel: After the Fall - the two seem like pretty seperate entities. Would it not be better to split them up?

Maybe once there are more comic-related tropes. As it stands, there's only two or three.
