Should we create a sliding scale of 'All Planets Are Earthlike'? I'm still trying to think of how it might be numbered, but it might be on the scale of star systems, star clusters and/or close stars, galaxies, universe, and the multiverse.

...is there any backing to the little outburst in the Toys section? Because I can't follow some of the stuff being griped about.

Should Arbre, of Neal Stephenson's Anathem, be included in this? It's very, very parallel to Earth. On the other hand, the characters establish during the book that food from other planets, when Arbreans consume it, doesn't get digested.
Funny, considering that the only season to film in London was set in a dream version of 21st century London, on top of the pilot script being rejected by the BBC in London. I'm trying to work out what this is referring to? I seem to recall numerous instances of planets and moons without a sustainable atmosphere. I think "Thanks for the Memory" actually makes it a minor plot point that the body they're celebrating Rimmer's deathday on has oxygen. And even then, there's another planet without a breathable atmosphere in the same episode where they bury Red Dwarf's black box and put up a grave marker.
I'm pretty sure that Red Dwarf's breathable settings are primarily spaceships, space stations and planetary colonies.
