"Because money has intrinsic and universal value" Our modern Money does not actually. Treasure of Silver and/or Gold coins are still valuable to people centuries latter. But when our current system collapses, all our pieces of Ink and Paper will be useless. No one in the future will be killing each other to dig up stock piles of it.
