Would it be okay to put this on a work's YMMV page as an example? I want to point out how basically EVERY spaceship's name in Halo would be "A Good Name For A Band". Some examples: The Pillar of Autumn In Amber Clad Long Night of Solace

I always thought "The Hearbreaker Charles" would be a good one. From Pokemon.

sex bobombs from scott pilgrim vs. the world, several very rude names from a SNL skit (particularly mr potatodick?) should be on the blasphemy thing I believe.

How come "Deathkings of the Dark Citadel" isn't on this page? It's the perfect heavy-metal-band name.

Is there a reason Dave Barry isn't mentioned in the trope intro? WBAGNFARB ('would be a good name for a rock band') has been one of his catch-phrases since at 95 or so.

Furthermore, he has examples in most of the categories. Shouldn't we just shove him into his own category at the very top? We can list some of his more notable suggested names, perhaps to show examples of the folders below it. This page should have all of Dave's ficticious rock band names. Should we just copy and paste it to the the Dave Barry folder?

Real life: When my brother was a teenager, he was in a garage band named "Prodigy". Years later, he told me that every garage band either calls themselves "Prodigy" or considers it at some point.

In the newspaper comic "Zits", the main character is in a garage band called "Goat Cheese Pizza", but I'm not sure what section it belongs in.

I had to edit the page because the bug that prevents umlauts from displaying correctly is interfering with the readability of a HUGE chunk of the page. Sorry if it causes some band names to be unreadable, but it's better if the entire page was readable. Please try to fix the umlaut bug soon so the words with umlauts can be restored without causing an entire section to be unreadable!

I removed the following entries in the Hešvy MŽtal ‹mlaut section, because I couldn't figure out what they were meant to be. I've fixed most of the others.
- Dh (not umlauts, but still unusual Germanic diacritics)
- Nefasti* L Rockit
- Although on their band logo it looks more like "L Rockit".
- H?r?* Doesn't really count as a Hešvy MŽtal ‹mlaut, as it's an actual Finnish word.
- Ph Rising
- T? Death
- Prozzthough it's actually a Canadian pop duo consisting of cartoon characters Simon (who has a British accent) and Milo (who has a German accent).
