- In regards to the Color-Coded for Your Convenience entry, is it really a case of not being an example? Not only are there several listed where the trope is inverted rather than merely subverted or averted, and it's overall clear there's a lot of playing with the trope going on, most young adult works of the time played the trope straight. So the fact this one played with or outright averted it is actually notable, isn't it, as an example where the aversion is actually uncommon and thus worth noting?
