Ever spends her time complaining about her randomly-generated psychic powers hanging out with her gay friend, Miles, and her superficial goth frienemy, Haven, when she's not obsessing about her relationship with Damen. Most of the mystical elements of the story seem haphazardly used and are never adequately rationalized for the reader why any of the characters have certain powers in the first place. All in all, though, the abundance of Narm gives it a So Bad, It's Good feel that makes for an entertaining read, even if the author didn't intend for it to be entertaining in that way.
