- Comments: I never thought something like this would exist for this fandom, but I was proven wrong. The only real reason to read this is if you are a nightmare fetishist, or have a case of bile fascination as much as I do, and even then I was freaking out over the part in chapter five (let's just say there were needles involved...).
Cut this and put it here. Someone created a page for How I Became Yours, and it noted that it had a decent-sized fanbase until the plagiarism/art-tracing was noticed. In other words, except for that, it's no worse than all the other Character-Derailing Cookie Cutter Fics.

- Pairings: Zuko/Katara, Sokka/Azula, Aang/Toph, some Zuko/Mai (but it's quickly done away with).
- Synopsis: A post-series comic in which the finale never happened, everyone's out of character, and the Avatarverse now has elements of Western royalty taking over the whole universe.
- Comments: Wow, where to begin. For starters, Mai is twisted into a cruel, malicious, scheming demon-woman, a low-budget Azula. Azula herself seems to have had a lobotomy after losing her memories and nearly being killed. Katara is so melodramatic, she makes her Ember Island Players version look subtle. Zuko cheats on Mai, fathers a child with Katara, and then beats Mai for being pissed off about it. Toph is a sweet, soft-spoken girly girl. Aang is a sappy romantic. Sokka barely resembles himself in either character or appearance. The plot is the result of putting a Soap Opera and a dime store Romance Novel in a blender. Oh, and the reason the artist got banned from Deviant Art? She traced the whole comic from screencaps and copypasted the characters onto realistic background photos, which is against the site's rules!
- Also, Katara bloodbends Mai to death in daytime to get revenge for killing her child. This goes beyond Canon Defilement; it shouldn't technically be considered part of the Avatar fandom because it bears little to no resemblance to anything in the actual series.
- Should not be considered part of the Avatar fandom? Little to no resemblance? We have a name for things like this.
- The story recently ended with a glimpse of the characters and their children six years into the future. The children of course look exactly like their parents, and Azula has become a clone of Princess Yue after being healed of a fatal knife wound by the Spirit Oasis.

- Or to put it another way: a Purity Sue is declared The Chosen One by StarClan and proceeds to do everything perfectly and have at least three toms fall in love with her. The author is constantly extolling the virtues of Christianity and calling her flamers "Satinists" or "athletes." Spelling errors and general lolwut abound. May very well be a Troll Fic. Is either this or So Bad It's Good.
I notice quite a few of these fanfics are Harry Potter, what is it about that fandom does it just attract the worst writers? There's so many you could probably just put them all together in their own section.
About No Turning Back: if we can have naked quotes from that Mangogirl Silent Hill fic, we can have quotes from this one. We don't want people to read it casually, so spoiling plot points from the fic itself is okay; and the quotes don't appear to have plot points from the series it's a fanfic of. Or characters from those works, for that matter.
I'm for cutting the first one myself, since all of them seem to be trying to illustrate the same points, but I feel I've done enough with it already this pass.
Y'know that scene in Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny where Jables, during "Master Exploder", belts out a note while staring intensely at someone in the audience, and the guy's brain rockets out of the back of his head?

Someone seems to think Shinji's Nightmare Cataclysm is amusing. Do we investigate, or do we just assume they've gone mad from reading the work? This is of critical importance because the work is by Psychostorm: if the work is (somehow) So Bad Its Good, that means that maybe Psychostorm isn't a Brown Composer.
I'm not willing to risk my sanity for it, though — I doubt I could tell good Warhammer 40 K from bad Warhammer 40 K.

On hunting down So Bad Its Horrible references to try to lower this index's profile, I found this listed on a trope page with an address and a matter-of-fact So Bad Its Good Pot Hole. Chocobo Nights originally had on its own page "So Bad Its Good / So Bad Its Horrible (Your Mileage May Vary)." I'm afraid I have to respect the surrealists for now...

It breaks the mind trying to figure that one out) and who is determined to throw as many odd fetishes in a five-page fic as possible. Also, the author wrote "thung" for "tongue."
- Although this fic is well-recognized on its own, it's the second chapter of a six-part series. At least that explains the length.

- ComicsNix. Jesus Christ. This guy has made stories that either has humor or horror in them. Topless Robot has at least two of his stories on its website. This X-men fanfic is a prime example.

I would like to note that the reason we warn for Slash is that the people who write slash do not accept the idea of slash being Out Of Character for any given character, regardless of who we see them date onscreen. Debating it is the stuff of Internet Backdraft; simply assuming it is, unfortunately, naive. If it's an Alt!Giroro anyhow (I'll presume he isn't a hermaphrodite in canon), all sexual bets are off.

Cut this and put it here. I checked the profile of the author in question. He is deliberately writing HateFics for the shows in question. I suspect that, despite the Dont Like Dont Read warning, they are Troll Fics. And we don't list Troll Fics without a good reason.

Finally, give it a title like "Arthur's Sucky Day" or "Doug's Worst Day."

- Synopsis: The story begins with Hercules having sex with Cloud, and gets much much worse from there on out. Anything else in the story is best summed up by the warnings. The word "synopsis" implies there is some kind of plot to summarize. There is nothing of the sort here.
- Comments: So badly written that it takes the cake from Snakes On A Sora by a long shot. The writing is horrible, using Purple Prose and ridiculous sentences past the point of amusing. Ignoring the writing, there is no plot to speak of. The entire "story" revolves around bad characterization, unnecessary "kinks", and is undoubtedly the worst story I have ever seen.
IMO, we should separate the listings for "HEY GENDO!" and its sequel "Pen-pen! You..." I doubt those works are entwined that tightly.
So, where should we list the sequel?

- Comments: A new story, The synopsis above is essentially the entire plot but without dialog, in fact, a review to the story is actually longer than the story itself. The story is meant to be funny but isn't, The author slips in a bit of Fan-dumb hate by Kitty hitting Scott 'for being a jerk' when he didn't even do anything. They reviewed the story, telling them its awesome & even signs the review, & so far only has one mildly good review (Thought it should be noted that it only has 4 of them so far) that isn't even about the story but the comment they made at the end about their hatred of Lancitty.
Wait a minute. Lozen Maiden is one of the better works of its type? It would have to be if it was slightly less horrible than all the rest of the Rozen Maiden cosplay videos. Does that mean all Rozen Maiden cosplay porn is Horrible, or should we delist this one?
Cut No Turning Back (for now) after someone noted that a character name marked it as a Troll Fic. If it is one, then it's a successful Troll Fic — we were too outraged by the politics to notice the plot (if any).

- Comments: What semblance of a plot it has is buried underneath gigantic screaming rants against the author's unfavorite political party and its associate demographics. Contains so many racial slurs and psychotic misogynism that you could be forgiven for believing you'd clicked on the core rules for FATAL or Racial Holy War by mistake, only it's all attributed to the "political party/voters the author didn't like".
- Sample narration:
"Billy was a great believer in Jesus. Especially the parts where the smiting of the fags and the making the sandniggers discover the Good Book were concerned.""He'd jumped at the chance to join the White Eagles. A good unit without the blacks and the yellows and the brownies. The officers had been very good and very smart, even letting their men know that the President and Vice President themselves had the utmost confidence in the White Eagles and the super secret project that would make America the undisputed big daddy of the world forever.""Vice President Dick Ripper savored the sound of it. I'll dare to challenge the "Hey GENDO" entry: First of all, I don't think that the fics were supposed to be erotic at all. The entry even says that "the way it's presented there is simply no way a weirdo fetishist could be turned on in any way [and] the writer frequently breaks the fourth wall commenting on how disgusting it is." Yes, I agree that it's disgusting, but that's the point. To further quote the entry, "the author flat-out states that he hates Skullfucking. What is the point of writing a Lemon of a fetish that you hate?" Here's your answer: He didn't. Or, y'know, he technically did, in the sense that the fic contains explicit sex, but the readers aren't supposed to be aroused by it. Plus, I don't get the "terrible writing", either. Sure, I get where that is coming from, but I think the writing style is just another tool to make the fic be exactly what it is (uh... you get my point, right?): A dark humor piece. Yes, I know that not everyone likes this kind of humor, but I laughed hard.
So that's all I have to say about this. I'm not arguing for removing the entry, I'm just accusing the entry of Completely Missing The Point.

We need to link to Celebrian. Or at least mention it. When a fanfic is so bad - and not just because of squick or bad writing, but also incredibly BORING - that it's considered a badge of honour to manage to read through the whole thing, you know it's that bad.
I mean, the worst part is that the writer seemed to think that to make a story entertaining, all you have to do is add porn to balance out boringness. And the word 'lavender'.
I mean, anybody can read a few lines of lousy porn, or write a crappy sex scene, but it takes a real PRO to make it through 21k of orc, goblin and warg sex. My biggest deal was that when I was reading it, half of the time I wasn't even going 'ew'. I was constantly looking at the scroll bar and thinking, "What? Not even half-way through?"
Two reasons: One: I'd have to read it over again, and two: I can't seem to edit the page. But for you, Medicus, I'll put the data needed to put it in. Edit formatting to taste.

- Comments: How is it possible to make a one-shot of sex dull? It matters little. What matters is that it is one thing to read a bad one-shot with lousy spelling and IKEA sex. It's something else to manage to dredge your way through Celebrian; 21k of sex between elves and orcs and stuff, every detail of clothing lovingly and yet boringly pored over, every inch of genitalia described in perfect yet boring detail, as if the writer had some sort of picture in his brain that he wanted to write down. Boringly. And every word of the way you're just wishing the writer would just get it over with. The ability to make one's way through the whole thing is considered a badge of stamina among readers of bad Fan Fiction.
- Conclusion: No matter how bad a fanfic is, I always think, "It's nothing like as bad as Celebrian".

- Pairing: Celebrian/everybody.
- Synopsis: Celebrian gets kidnapped by goblins and turned into their rape slave. Then she gets rescued. Then she willingly goes back for more goblin cock.
- Comments: Considered a 'gem' among badfics, and a challenge for all readers of badfic to get through. It's not just disgusting. It's also boring. It goes on for 20,000 words and you find it tough to read, not merely because of how vile and disgusting it is, but because it's so goddamn boring. A well-noted comment made and agreed with by a self-admitted pervert is:

Recommend Yuffie Pays the Price be cut if the death scene — surely the reason it was written — truly is in Tear Jerker territory, even if it's by accident. Accidental art is still art.
Someone recently posted a Suzumiya Haruhi fanfic on here the day it was posted on fanfiction.net. I recommend we not do this sort of thing in the future, as there is still a chance of It Gets Better.
If possible, we should try to focus on completed fics and apparent Dead Fic. We are supposed to be judging entire works, which is hard if the entire work isn't posted yet.
Note for future editors: Please don't put spoiler tags on any vile acts unless they literally made you cry in a corner. And even then, this only applies if you've seen Goatse without crying in a corner literally (Or some other shock site).

- Synopsis: Ron Weasley destroys Harry's genital, Snape knocks up a 12-year-old Neville, Ron uses his spinning penis to cause mayhem, followed by a guide on how to be a Troll, Ash Ketchum acts like an asshole, Cowboy Bebop (who is a real character- No joke) kills "Bleach" (Ichigo) and a Relationship Sue called "Shadowneko Dese Nu Kawaii", Film Brain tries to court Linkara (with disastrous results), Cooler from DBZ joins forces with Ash, Ron, and Dr. Wheelo (and eventually Linkara) to take over the world, David Bowie becomes an outright Possesion Sue and saves the day, and Sonichu goes through a horrific sex change and carries Ron Weasley's baby (which is made of poop).
- Comments: Why. Just, why. The plot can basically be summed up as "X has impossible sex with Y when Z shows up and kills them. Teh End." And the grammar is just plain bad. Engrish is an understatement, considering the syntax of most sentences. Most of the references to other works are just completely and totally wrong. For exampl, John Freechmen did not invent the the isotop that had a quarter-life, Cowboy Bebop is the name of a spaceship, not any character, and, scarily enough, the author seems to have a fetish for genital mutilation. What. The. Hell?! The characters are derailed to absurd degrees, and the plot is a huge Wall Banger.
- Conclusion: Beware. I doubt Encyclopedia Dramatica would touch this with a 49-and-a-half foot pole.
Note: David Gonterman has been listed on the So Bad Its Good fanfic page. It is, in fact, possible that some of his lesser-known works are So Bad Its Good. Recommend that we remove his personal entry and replace his fics where they came from.
Someone appears to have made a slight Take That at fanfic writers in general on the intro to the page (as in, "writers with any skill can create their own characters.") How to deal with that?
I think we need to expand on "Knight of the Forest" a little. We have Rouge Angles Of Satin, but that comes in So Bad Its Good fics as well. We have Character Derailment, but no details of what sort, other than swearing. And we have "surprise sex" in a fic that is on a site for X-rated fic, where sex of some sort is expected. There had better be other reasons.

She turns into a Goffik and takes Ginny (who is confusingly called Christiana) down with her, becoming an evil rulebreaker who "wrecks chaos" throughout the school. She falls in love with Draco, and the two get engaged at the age of 14. Harry, meanwhile, discovers a mind control spell even more powerful than Imperius and uses it to make everyone have violent BDSM sex with him. Especially literal Butt Monkey Ron. Halfway through, Harry gets turned into a girl called Hazel and is raped by Remus and Sirius (who is a Dark Veela). Then he turns into James Potter and is kidnapped by Hermione/Chrissy/Isis and turns out to be her sister/brother and is a vampire.
- Comments: Harry has a "King Cobra" 10 inches long and 3 inches wide. For comparison, this is roughly the same size as a pint glass of beer. Good luck inserting that into the slot! Also, bravely defying the Translation Convention, an entire chapter is written in badly-Babelfished Italian.

It's revealed at the end that Elena's titlar powder got on Yuffie, causing the rape orgy.
- Comments: Besides the obnoxious Gratuitous Rape everywhere (that everyone is perfectly okay with afterward), the characters are OOC with Yuffie becoming weepy and whiny and Elena turning into a creepy rapist. Cid is jarringly replaced mid-scene by a guy named "Vic." If that's not a typo, then it's possibly the most sudden appearance of an Author Avatar ever. Strangley enough, Cait Sith is completely absent from this whole ordeal...but maybe that's a good thing!
FF.net appears to have gone on a minor purge of erotic fanfiction. While certainly admirable, this event leads to the issue of a lot of fanfiction that's listed, but no longer exists. What to do?
