Maybe they should be separated by episode like the Headscratcher page. If a fridge idea falls into more than one episode it can be but into either.
Oh, God! I'm only a few entries in and already my heart is broken and my psyche shattered.... ;_;
Son, I am thoroughly disappoint..Does Luna really manipulate clouds physically in "Luna Eclipsed"? I seem to recall she was doing it all "by remote" until the very end perhaps, and even that is questionable.
Christian Furry Brony D&D gamemaster & homebrewerWanted opinions on if this belongs here or over at Headscratchers, and also check if it's been noted already. Here it is:
In "Party of One," when Pinkie Pie is using her tin can listening device, she holds it up to the side of her head, not to her actual ear.
Fridge Brilliance Discord did take Twilights element! When they where about to enter the labyrinth, he took her horn and said himself he took her magic.
"And Magic makes it all complete" indeed, that's why it was the first one he took
Edited by Otakukun GATTAI!!!! Hide / Show RepliesIt's not really a complete explanation. He took Rarity's horn too, and her element isn't Magic.
Fridge Brilliance
Rainbow Dash is Fluttershy's foalhood friend, Pinkie Pie's prank partner and Applejack's athletic adversary. In turn, Fluttershy and Rarity are fashionistas. It means that, long after her sonic rainboom, Rainbow Dash continues to be a keystone in the mane 6's friendship! Poor Twilight must still feel isolated, though.
Haven't read this page for a while so this may have been added in the interim, but here goes.
Fridge Brilliance:
Isn't it frustrating that no matter how often they fail, the Cutie Mark Crusaders never understand that you're supposed to just wait for your cutie mark instead of trying and trying to make it happen? Even Apple Bloom, probably the most even-headed of the three fillies, just doesn't get it. Even after Cheerilee explained it to her class in "Call of the Cutie"! "Discovering what makes you unique isn't something that happens overnight, and no amount of hoping, wishing, or begging will make a cutie mark appear before its time." Too bad Apple Bloom, who had been diligently taking notes, was momentarily distracted by Diamond Tiara's note-passing. She mighta learned something.
Another one, probably a borderline case since it's most likely intended and I just never noticed it:
In "Winter Wrapup," there's more foreshadowing of Twilight's knack for organization coming in handy than I originally thought. There's the obvious "Good thing I'm so organized," but I only just noticed that when Twilight tries helping Rarity with the birds' nests, she takes the random mishmash of materials Rarity dumps on the table and organizes it OCD-style immediately.
Edited by theodrixxI just noticed, after seeing the New Sneak Preview of season two. (Spoilers, duh.) The two insults the other Crusaders have used against Scootaloo with are Chicken and Dodo. Both are (mostly) flightless birds. Their making fun of the fact that Scootaloo can't fly yet. Harsh.
Not sure if this is Fridge Horror or Fridge Brilliance, but here we go.
"After Nightmare Moon is beaten, Celestia emerges from the rising sun and appears before the group. Why? It's not stated, but after spending a thousand years imprisoned in the moon, it seems that Nightmare Moon decided what goes around comes around and trapped her sister in the sun..."
In reference to the question, "So slavery is legal in Equestria?", it should be noted that although horses and ponies are similar, there is a difference between the two. Technically, they would not be enslaving their own species, so it would be more accepted by their society. Now sit and think about that for a while...
"If you take your time out of the entire Pinkie pie mealtdown, the entire episode is very charicaturesque. Extremely charicaturesque and its not only Pinkie. Pinkie throwing to wall both Twilight and Fluttershy, leaving "Marks" in it; Twilight tiptoe in broad daylight with sound effect; Rainbow dash drawing a watch in her leg in front of Pinkie and telling the hour with a straight face; Applejack closing the barn door in Pinkie face and the construction background; Rainbow recognizing Pinkie in her absurd costume nonchalantly; the entire Bear thing... it seems pretty out of context. Then you realize that in every episode around Pinkie or where she had a large part "Pinkie Senses, Green Eyed Monster", the entire Universe seems to star working in Looney Toones physics in a very Meta way." Can someone make that less brain-hurting to read? I don't even get what they're trying to say.
Hide / Show Replies...this troper thinks that what they're saying is this: "The more focus there is on Pinkie Pie in any given episode, the less realistic and rational that episode's content will be".
Edited by EvdogWhy we have Fridge Logic here? It's Just Bugs Me stuff.
Edited by DeathCloud Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
Just a thought, but is there any better way to organize the Fridge page? I know most Fridge Logic/Brilliance/Horror pages don't need separate folders, but this is MLP we are talking about, and this has to be the largest Fridge page I have seen to date on this site.
Going through it, I also found there tends to be quite a bit of repetition, as if people couldn't be bothered to look all the way through to see if someone else had come to the same conclusion they had because the page is already too long. Something along the lines of the WMG page might be good, since it seems most of the entries follow the pattern of either being about specific episodes or general canon.
