Going meta for a second: Tsegumi Ohba's next work, Bakuman, argues in-universe that Narm can be a good thing. Is this his actual opinion? If so, what does this mean for all the Narm scenes in Death Note? Did Ohba like the reactions? Were they intended?

Another one tying Death Note to Bakuman: There's a scene in Bakuman where a crime is committed in order to copy something in the main characters' manga-within-a-manga. There have been copycat crimes of Death Note in real life. Could this be the inspiration for these scenes in Bakuman?
