Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:

  • Tyrannosaurus Rex: In all three of the original games. Two in the second game. Anniversary gives it a boss encounter, making it far more difficult to kill than the original. As a bonus, Lara's trophy room in Tomb Raider III has a T. rex head mounted on the wall!

I think all the GOLD games should be collected together and put on their separate page. This way the main pages for each Core game can be left without the extra baggage, while the GOLD games can have proper care. Since they are relatively small, I think there is no point making separate pages for each of them, but a single, collective one would be still better than the current state of affairs.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure whether this counts, but I am considering adding Kurtis to YMMV as a 'Memetic Molester'. In Angel of Darkness his first two encounters with Lara involve him watching her from the shadows then mysteriously leaving without a word. In the third he never says a word to her and appears to feel her up while holding a gun to her head. Yes he was checking for weapons (and while Lara is an attractive woman, that's no excuse), but it comes across as less sexual tension and looks more like a sexual assault.

Could this be a case of Unfortunate Implications or would it fit under Memetic Molester.

So, would adding stuff that happens in the Expanded Universe of Tomb Raider 2013 go under that section? For example, things that happen in the comics and novels.

Exactly what is stopping anyone from starting separate pages from Core-era games? Is there any reason for that, aside from half of the users being too young to remember them? Because if not, I think I know what I will be doing with my spare time in upcoming months

I think that is in fact the reason. I would love to do this myself but i haven't finished all the games yet. Please get them started!

Got them going. Someone put a redirect for Tomb Raider Chronicles. Can this be removed?

Hahaha... I was planning to start today and what? All the pages are there, done. Nothing to do aside from expanding them. Thanks for help ^^

I think we can start adding in characters from Tomb Raider 2013 to the characters page, as well as filling out the Awesome Moments page.

I'm not sure if it entirely fits, but here goes. In the reboot, Lara's young, inexperienced and for some reason, prone to getting the stuffing knocked out of her. She hates all the jumping and shooting etc. that Lara Croft is famous for, but since this is a reboot, she doesn't know what's to come. So, would it count as 'Dramatic Irony' that in the 2012 E3 trailer, a battered, bloody Lara cringes at the sight of a cave and says, "I HATE tombs..."?

The hour-long Eurogamer footage has a moment where Lara gets stuck in a bear trap. Helped to her feet, she says that she'll be find after resting a little. Is this bravado, or a nod and a wink to the game's Regenerating Health?
