If you enter the editing window for the main page and replace "Franchise" with "Comic Book" in the html, you should be able to remove the redirect.
If you want something done, do it yourself. Long page was LOOOOOOOOONG, and hard to pick out the film examples. I moved all film examples to Alien vs. Predator. You folks familiar with the games may want to namespace change to Video Games.
"Freedom is not a license for chaos" -Norton Juster's The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics Hide / Show RepliesHybrid Monster: Actually Predaliens are not "hybrids" per se, because that is just how they procreate. They take on properties of the host. Human-born Aliens are vaguely humanoid, Predator-born are kind of monster-like and share characteristics like the dreadlocks, etc. There was even a Dog-born alien in Alien 3, IIRC, and he was a quadruped. Still a bad movie.
Possible Humans Are Morons: The Predator's Voice with an Internet Connection expresses a certain amount of disbelief over how stupid the humans are for allowing a Xenomorph queen reproduce. It might be hypocrisy considering how Preds seem to frequently chain up queens and allow them to create swarms of Xenos for sport, or it might be disdain for the uncontrolled manner in which the hive is kept. Does being a hypocrite nullify a trope?
Should there be a film page differentiating between the movies and the rest of the franchise?
Hide / Show RepliesPerhaps, but if that were to be the case, then we'd need a page for the movies, films and games. Each form of media seems to follow different rules, anyway.
Could someone at least break the examples up into 'folders'? There's examples from the films as well as the games in here together, and the films and games are barely in the same continuity.
Shouldn't this page be at Aliens Versus Predator or Aliens Vs Predator? The "Alien" AVP variant is the rarest.
It is shameful for a demon to be working, but one needs gold even in Hell these days. Hide / Show RepliesYeah, 'Aliens' would technically be more correct. On the other hand, fans that prefer the Alien creature feel that the pluralisation reflects how shafted they get in the franchise, being reduced to dumb mooks from something far more awesome. 'Alien vs. Predator' reflects the franchise as it should be to a lot of fans.
Hello. I'd like to start troping the Alien Vs. Predator comic, specifically the first miniseries published by Dark Horse comics (and maybe the later novelization, Prey.) How do I go about that, since the "Comic Book" namespace is taken a redirect to the Franchise page?
